About Us

BRIEF HISTORY

Mediatrix Reach Out Trust (MeRoT) is a non-for-profit and non-governmental organization founded by Rev. Fr. Dr. Louismary Sunny Ocha; a priest of the Roman Catholic Church and a native of Amuhie, Umuawa-alike, Ohuhu Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria, West Africa.  It was launched on the first day of January, 2023 in Amuhie. The aim is to complement what the government does in the area of human and community developments. The target is mostly on children, youths and people from indigent families and rural communities that hardly feel the presence of the secular government. This initiative is possible as a result of sponsorship from friends, the Church faithful and people of goodwill.

  • Access to Affordable or Free Healthcare/ Rehabilitation Services
  • Special Charity Apostolate
  • Small Business Development including Agriculture
  • Rural Infrastructure: access to potable water, accessible roads, etc.

  • PASSION: The service is not just social work but a profound expression of Christian faith and commitment to God’s work with humanity.
